Ladies and Gentlemen, White Stripes mania has hit the planet and if you didn’t know it, you must be living under a rock. This little Detroit duo who are either brother and sister or ex-husband and wife, depending on who you talk to, do more with two instruments (guitar and drums) than most bands can with a full lineup; and play some of the coolest blues-based rock this side of Led Zeppelin.
A band that has been almost singlehandedly charged with hastening the return of rock and roll deserve a tribute – and we got one. The String Quartet Tribute to the White Stripes, features some of the most rockin’ quartets playing THE most rockin’ White Stripes’ songs. The band may have only three full-length albums to their name, but their sound is big enough for ten!
